CheapOair Reviews-Sam Jain

CheapOair was established in 2005. Even if the first two years were not profitable, the travel site had evidently scored ranks of recognition from 2008 as the 9th largest online travel agency up until now as one of the travel giants. Sam Jain founded CheapOAir in New York City as a subsidiary of Fareportal. The name “CheapOair” was chosen to elicit a sense of value and affordability.

Now, we’ll be checking this travel site’s performance in these CheapOair reviews. It’s time to learn more and be aware.

How does CheapOair work?

CheapOair looks like just ordinary travel search engine. Travellers start searching by entering the following information, such as: location, destination and duration dates. This method can be used either for searching flight deals, hotel reservations, car rental services or vacation deals. CheapOair had promised that results are the best price guarantee, which means results are the lowest worldwide.

The background of a huge shot of the ocean gives a calm and clean mood. The option to change the language of CheapOair is shown at the top right which is interchangeable to 30 other languages either from the Pacific, Europe, Asia or Middle East. There are two options given online as to how to contact them. Either travellers call them 1-800-566-2345 or chat with their live agent.

Well, as one of the major travel sites nowadays, of course they won’t let their company be left out. CheapOair has a mobile version of all the services mentioned earlier. The travel app is available to download from both the App Store and Google Play Store. But, we were disappointed looking at CheapOair reviews:

CheapOair Reviews  of Consumers

As others say “If it’s too good to be true, then it’s not true.” I was actually surprised after all. After looking through several CheapOair reviews, the online travel agency is not as beautiful as it’s pictured. They maintain to put up fake feedback on some trusted commenting site and hide the real ones. Why? Because the hidden ones are complaints.

“Travel the world for less?” Maybe it is travelling the world with less money, because CheapOair stole their money. One recent review of a consumer even said “I wanted to change the return date. The change penalty is $175 but they wanted to charge me $1000+ dollar in total including $175 + price difference.” To see the whole story, click here.

Yes, we can’t judge a book by its cover. CheapOair was painting a pretty picture. However, while painting they forgot to check the quality of paints they are using because they are more focused on the outcome more than the process itself. Business is about people and the essence of travelling starts from a person’s eagerness to wander. But, if their excitement to travel was conquered by some consequences, their entire vacation will be affected. At least be more cautious of your customer’s concern and payments.
