Former Southwest Airlines employees led by David Neeleman established an airline called “New Air” in 1999. It started by following Southwest’s approach of offering low-cost travel, but sought to distinguish itself by its amenities, such as: in-flight entertainment, TV at every seat, and the SiriusXM satellite radio. The newly-established airline received its formal US authorization in just a year.

JetBlue provides two kinds of service or experience on board: Core and Mint.
Core Experience – Passengers can relax on a reclining seat with 38” legroom and an adjustment mechanism to recline the seat to the position you want. With a wide variety of entertainment like DIRECTV, Sirius XM Radio, and JetBlue features, indulge in different movies, TV shows, music, news, and sports while flying 35,000 ft from the ground. This class offers unlimited snacks and beverages to all passengers to satisfy their hunger.
Mint Experience – Seats in this class are noted to be “super-comfy seats” that can be converted to a lie-flat bed with a mechanism for adjustments. Each passenger can satisfy his craving for entertainment with 15” interactive video screens that include over 100 channels provided by DIRECTV, SiriusXM Radio, and they can access the Internet with the Fly-Fi on board. Passengers are served with small plates of servings with world-class beverages.
PC and Mobile Services
Their official website looks like a social media site where users can log in to their account. It looks like a Twitter or Facebook with orange colors. But, that’s not degrading them. We are actually amazed with how their web page works. It is easy to navigate around the site. JetBlue’s page gives out a lot of information regarding their services, news, and policies. Customers also have the option to access their account with TrueBlue online aside from the typical searching and managing of booking online.
JetBlue has a mobile version of all the services that can be done on its PC version. Customers who are Android or iOS users can download the travel app on their Google Play Store or App Store. To be more specific, the mobile app lets customers book a flight, get flight status information, review inflight entertainment options, and more. Travellers can also access their mobile boarding pass using the app.
JetBlue Reviews of Customers
JetBlue had been getting a lot of positive feedback from its customers. According to Skytrax, based on 317 JetBlue reviews, the airline provides warm and efficient service. However, some reviews are showing mixed emotions towards their flight experience with JetBlue. Some JetBlue reviews state that their representatives do not do their job very well and are sometimes rude to customers. On the other hand, there are passengers claiming that Jetblue provides great ground and inflight service; they also say that all of the attendants are very kind and helpful. So, it’s always in between. But, at least they got a 6 out 10 star rating.
